So about a week ago I was eating yogurt out of a La Yogurt container when all of a sudden I found that I was chewing on a piece of plastic.
Well I decided that I needed to bring this to La Yogurt's attention so I wrote and emailed the following to La Yogurt.
"I just ate a piece of plastic that came off the top of one of your “La Yogurt” products.
At first I thought it was a piece of strawberry but as I continued to eat on piece the texture started to feel funny.
Then it dawned on me that I may be eating a piece of plastic from the container.
So I spit the piece out of my mouth and when looked at it up close I confirmed my assumption, it was a piece off the rim off the plastic packing.
The piece is curved exactly as the rim of the container.
I’m guessing the piece got ripped off when I pulled back the alumni cover from the rim.
I speek for all consumers here, we place our confidents in food manufacturers to provide us with safe and reliable containers that won’t fall apart on us.
This made me sick to stomach and I won’t be eating yogurt manufactured by Johanna Foods product again.
