Can I get a cup of coffee? Not from my Keurig

I received a Keurig as a gift from my wife last Christmas.  The brewer was working great up until a few weeks ago, the brewer went from boiling water from under a minute to its five minutes maybe more boiling point.  Another problem I'm having with the brewer is if I press the medium size cup button I may end up getting a small cup.  Ugh!

I tried all the troubleshoot tutorials videos from YouTube's website but none of them were able to help me solve my problem.

I finally decided to report the issue to Keurig.

This is very frustrating. The funny thing is I had a similar issue with a Keurig I a few years back.
I ended up given it to a friend to fix.

Plastic in my La Yogurt

So about a week ago I was eating yogurt out of a La Yogurt container when all of a sudden I found that I was chewing on a piece of plastic.

Well I decided that I needed to bring this to La Yogurt's attention so I wrote and emailed the following to La Yogurt.

"I just ate a piece of plastic that came off the top of one of your “La Yogurt” products.

At first I thought it was a piece of strawberry but as I continued to eat on piece the texture started to feel funny.

Then it dawned on me that I may be eating a piece of plastic from the container.

So I spit the piece out of my mouth and when looked at it up close I confirmed my assumption, it was a piece off the rim off the plastic packing.

The piece is curved exactly as the rim of the container.

I’m guessing the piece got ripped off when I pulled back the alumni cover from the rim.

I speek for all consumers here, we place our confidents in food manufacturers to provide us with safe and reliable containers that won’t fall apart on us.

This made me sick to stomach and I won’t be eating yogurt manufactured by Johanna Foods product again.

Cruise like a Norwegian

So my family and I went on the Norwegian cruise. We all had a great time! But that kind of changed when we got the bill. It seemed that the service charge rate on the bill was higher then what I agreed too.
When I booked the cruise over the phone three months earlier I agreed to pay $12.95 per person\ per day but when I received my bill at the end of the cruise I saw a discrepancy in the price. Norwegian now wanted me to pay $13.50 per person\ per day! Ugh!
I know it may not be a lot of money to haggle over and ruin a vacation for but it's my money and I just wanted the service charge price I agreed too.
I told the person behind the service desk that this is ridiculous, I didn't agree to pay $15.50 per person\ per day for service chargers when I booked the cruise, and that I refuse to pay. But he said I had no choice and must settle my account before leaving the ship. He added that I was not the only passenger on the cruise dealing with this issue. He said Norwegian cruise line was aware of the discrepancy in service charges people are receiving on their bill and that they will make every effort to reimburse the difference or even better in some cases Norwegian may even give you (me) a full refund on the service chargers.
He gave me some sort of reimbursement form, said to fill it out, and then email it to servicecharges@ncl.com.
His rebuttal was quick and to the point so I felt like he went down this road before with customers. So I paid the difference and took the form to fill out.
I emailed  the form as soon as I got off the ship but it has been about two months now and I have not received any word from Norwegian cruise lines.

It's terrible that this happened because overall the entertainment, service, and food were very good. But this one event had to spoil it for me.
